Uncover our new destinations

Al Wajh – Saudi Arabia

Located in the Tabuk Province in north-western Saudi Arabia, Al Wajh is an atmospheric coastal city perched along the coast of the Red Sea oozing a laidback ambiance.

The abandoned old town, Al Balad is a hidden gem. Wander through its virtually abandoned streets and admire the Hijazi-style architecture with its Red Sea coral buildings and colorful balconies and discover the city’s many mosques.

Just a short drive from the city is the magnificent AlUla, home to Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage-listed site - the tombs of Hegra and one of the oldest cities on the Arabian Peninsula. This magnificent site referred to as ‘The World’s Masterpiece’ is home to ancient, preserved tombs, natural wonders, and is bursting with arts and culture. AlUla remains largely off the beaten track, giving you the opportunity to really immerse yourself in these spectacular surroundings and appreciate the vast desert and the monumentality of its natural assets.

Duba – Saudi Arabia

Lovingly known by locals as the ‘Pearl of the Red Sea’, Duba is a small port city in the Tabuk region and is the nearest Saudi Arabian port to the Suez Canal. Despite being one of the regions smaller cities, this undiscovered treasure is bursting with history, fresh seafood restaurants overlooking the harbor, and picturesque beaches.

Without a doubt, the historic King Abdulaziz Fort is Duba’s main attraction. Built in 1933 CE during King Abdulaziz’s reign, the fort acted as the ruling center of the city and is proudly perched right on the sea front overlooking the port.

Immerse yourself in local life with a visit to Duba Fish Market where you can experience the hustle and bustle of a traditional Arabian fish market or visit one if the city’s many sun-kissed beaches.

Jeddah – Saudi Arabia

Where the past and present collide, Jeddah is a captivating port city along the Red Sea that blends the old with the new. A gateway for pilgrimages to the Islamic holy cities Mecca and Medina, the city boasts a mix of ancient mosques and towering, modern skyscrapers. This once ancient city is believed to be the final resting place of the mother of humanity, Eve, and today, Jeddah is a modern commercial hub, with a cosmopolitan and diverse approach to life.

This forward-thinking city is home to the contemporary Corniche waterfront, high-end shopping malls, bustling souqs, beautiful mosques and seafront restaurants serving the finest Middle Eastern cuisine.

The city’s historic district Al Balad (translated as ‘The Town’) is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site that dates to the 7th century. Retaining its traditional charm with buildings made from coral, Al Balad is home to the city's oldest mosque, Masjid Shaffie and the old pilgrimage road, also known as Al Dahab Street, where you can haggle with vendors for trinkets, nuts, spices, fabrics, and more.

Agios Nikolaos, Crete – Greece

Nestled in an enviable location, on a sprawling hillside beside the Gulf of Mirabello is the laid-back town of Agios Nikolaos, a picturesque coastal port with a quaint small town feel, and a rich history. Situated on Crete’s northeast coast the town is partially built on the ruins of the ancient city of Lato pros Kamara.

The town’s most treasures gems is Voulismeni Lake, a cobalt blue lagoon steeped in Greek mythology and legend has it, that the goddess Athena and Artemis bathed in its waters. Relax lakeside by day in one of the many cafes, and as night falls watch as the lake comes to life with locals and tourists alike in its lively bars and traditional tavernas.

Many of Crete’s most beautiful beaches are found with a stone's throw from Agios Nikolaos including the white sands and turquoise waters of Voulisma Beach, plus there are several other attractions nearby including olive farms and typically Greek rural villages.
