Chef Dale was born in Saskatchewan, Canada. After traveling the world and working his way through the kitchens of Gordon Ramsay and Daniel Boulud for a decade he won the first season of Top Chef Canada.
Over the past ten years, he and long-time co-worker and business partner Christopher Cho have opened five award-winning restaurants in Saskatchewan. Always testing his competitive side, Dale has also appeared on Iron Chef Gauntlet, Fire Masters, and Wall of Chefs and competed internationally on Top Chef World All-Stars.
Chef Tom started his cooking career at Hyatt Hotels in his hometown of Mainz, Germany, followed by Steinberger Academy in southern Germany, where he obtained his master’s in culinary arts, graduating with honors. He trained under Thomas Keller and his team in the Napa Valley.
A finalist in the first season of Top Chef Germany, Chef Tom was invited to compete in the Top Chef World All Stars. In 2019, he joined the newly launched Scenic Eclipse as the Executive Chef and today is the Vice President of Oceans Hotel Operations for Scenic Group, overseeing the entire culinary program for both Scenic Eclipse Discovery Yachts and the two Emerald Cruises yachts.
